We have an allocated holding account for your deposit to be kept secure as your plans are brought to life.
Proactive Design
Performance is built in at the very beginning of your project and we pride ourselves on our proactive approach during the concept and design phases. We believe that collaboration between expert builders, designers and yourself is the key to producing a unique, beautiful and high-performing home that ticks all your boxes.
This includes establishing your budget to manage costs through financial planning, reviewing pre-consent documentation and adding our expert advice to save on build and ongoing energy and maintenance costs. All our valuable communication, specifications and project information will be added to our unique project management schedule for your approval.
Health & Safety
CBG was the first building company in Wanaka to do away with rubbish skips and utilise recycling on site, allowing us to reuse, save you money and maintain our solid reputation for having the cleanest and safest building sites in the region. As a member of Hazardco, we work with them to put in place all the health and safety policies and site-specific safety plans for your project.
Qualifications
We like to ensure you have peace of mind during your build by giving you the very best, which is why all staff at CBG are Trade Certified LBPs, have their National Certificate in carpentry or are currently completing their apprenticeship.
Quality Control & Communication
When it comes to building your home, you’re an essential part of the team and keeping you up to date and involved is one of our top priorities. Our tried and tested systems and milestone checklist ensure our high standard of work, while site walkthroughs and an open invite to all our contractor and subcontractor meetings ensures you’re part of the process to avoid any surprises.

We put ourselves in your shoes to find the best solution, then put our steel caps back on to action it.
Completion
Your final builders' clean is done by our very own trained staff. You will also join in on a final walk through to ensure there is no defects in need of addressing. A folder specific to the details of your home will be given to you including everything you need to know about your new home, as well as contacts for any trades you may require in the future.
Post-build Service
CBG is always just a phone call or email away. If for any reason you need to get hold of us after the build is complete, your call will be returned straight away. If required, one of our team members will happily pop by. We’re here for the long-haul – just like our homes.
